Ok so I live on the other side of the planet. Western Canuckistan (British Columbia) and I recently acquired a Saff that needed rescuing.

Problem? No keys. Worse yet is that no one makes tibbe keys here or even knows that they are. Ford dealer looks at me with a puzzled look.

The guy sees me asking about keys and disc codes. Offers to look into a key cut from Ford and he gets shot down. But they offer a lockset for an excellent price. The dude boxes 'em up, pays the postage and sends 'em to me. Out of his own pocket (temporarily).

From one petrol head to another that is true dedication to a fellow Ford owner. I can't say enough how comforting it is to find friends halfway around the world that are willing to help.

One company about 300 miles south of me in America claimed to be able to make a key if I got the disc code for $58 plus $20 shipping. $78 USD on a gamble? The entire lockset from a Ford dealer in Wales was the same price! No wonder why America can't stay afloat. They just don't know how to do business.
