Turbo cooler in a Cossie pics??

Turbo cooler in a Cossie pics??
Does anyone have a picture of a turbo cooler installed in a cossie engine bay!!???
Im just interested to see how you plumbed it in!!?

I believe it is just feed from the water return hose from the turbo to header tank, sorry no pics

Its easy, just fit it inline with the feed from the turbo to header tank.

Are they Airtech rad's and coolers? What is the quality like? I have just bought the 60mm rad and turbo cooler

I have a long water pipe from the turbo along the front of the rocker cover!!??

this is how my hose from the turbo to the header tank used to look. i think samco did it this way to replace the type that you have that goes over the rocker cover. you can see it coming from the turbo then going along under the slam panel then round to the header tank. then it was just a case of cutting the right bit of the pipe to go on the turbo cooler

my engine temp have never gone above the m on the temp gauge since i have fitted mine. used to go half way up the gauge. dont worry they work.

There seem to be quite a few opinions on water cooling for the turbo.
Some are saying that you don't even need water cooling on a T3x turbo even on a track car, some say leave it on as standard and others are opting for a turbo cooler?
Is it more for the benefit of keeping your coolant temps down ( where you are using the coolant to cool the turbo ) or for extending the turbo life?

Old pic which you can just make out the cooler. Mines piped up through the power steering to keep that cool aswell....

Guys....
one more question on this....
Are we saying to plumb this in i need to cut down the S/Steel turbo return pipe that is normally situated on top of the rocker cover??

throw the stainless one in the bin, and use a 4x4 hose, which is then cut in two pieces
