Maybe both? be surprised if they didnt

 

If they were recording they have a legal duty to tell you first - that's the law - otherwise if they produced something in Court that you weren't advised of it's inadmissable as evidence.

 

Most traffic cars i believe are fitted with recording equipment inside and out and video.

 

ALL traffic cars have both audio and visual recording inside.
No it won't get chucked out of court if they didn't tell you first you were being recorded, as plod are allowed to break the law in "procurment" of evidence.
YES they have to let you see it as you are on it and also have to give you a copy if you ask for one, if they get arsey over this ask to speak to the DATA PROTECTION CONTROLLER, every force has to employ one who's specific aim is to deal with data protection, who knows the law inside out on this point.

WTF,are you on about,give us a wee bit more detail and maybe somebody here may be able to help you,who the hell knows if the Strathclyde Police have audio or video recording anyway YOU were probably driving like an arshole to be pulled over in the first place.
