Been busy today so I thought i'd write a story of my day

Met up with a mate and we went over to another mate's workshop. We were greeted with this;



We left him to get back to his work, which he looked happy with!



Needed to change the lambda sensor on our first victim, other wise known as my car...





Up she goes on the ramp that is used by people not qualified to use a proper ramp

As per usual, the lambda is an utter bitch to get to!





Luckily there was someone who looked like they knew what they were doing on the job!



It came out without too much bother, although the manifold was fucking red hot, and yes I did burn myself

Yup, thats fucked!



Got the new one in without too much bother, so took a few more piccies....





By this time the mrs is still looking rather happy while sitting in the shed, otherwise known as my mate's renault 5 campus



So, on to the next victim! My mate's Rover coupe thats having a new engine.



Dash had to come out to change the speedo cable and fit some new wiring, so within 30 minutes we transformed a perfectly good car into this



We then decided that it was far too fucking cold to be pissing about with a Rover, so we rung another mate to come G us up a bit!



But we decided that we still couldnt really be fucked to do anymore, so we went inside to see how gaz was getting on. We were greeted with this;



And also, the Mrs is looking decidedly pissed off with me!!



So we thought we'd push off! We stopped off at Castle Combe to see what was going on and found some rather spangly cars nailing it round!





















After having a walk around I thought I would take a few more pics of my car to bore you with















My mate didn't really want to show up the likes of a CSL, R8 and the RS4 on the track, so he left his 5 round the corner out of sight



And women being women, we couldnt go on a day out without having our picture taken a million times before we go home.....







By this time I was busting for a piss....



So I killed the mrs and came home




And that was my day!!!

Neither do I to be honest, I want more power.

 

Yes they are a good all rounder for day to day driving, not the fastest thing in the world, but handles very very well!

Only negative thing is that they are quite thirsty!

 

Christ don't drive an RS then!
