think mine used to average about 24/25mpg, but thats a mixture of sittin in traffic around town, bit of motorway, and the occasional heavy right foot moment

Mines not been on the road for ages, but I reckon I'll get 25-30mpg out of it. I have seen 250 miles from a tank.

i did however see sub 100 miles from a tank of fuel once, but i think maybe that had something to do with a slightly over-enthusiastic fuelling set up at jamsport

You've hit the nail on the head - get it set up.

Even my old 1.9 CVH that was running 240+bhp would return 250 miles to a tank - so that's roughly 25mpg.

There's something very wrong with yours if it's standardish.

I managed to do 250 miles yesterday on 40 quids worth of fuel. The 1st 125 miles was 70-80mph but car was running well out of tune then jano tuned it and managed to get back on same fuel but fuel seemed to go down alot quicker once tuned. I suspect is cos i was chasing clio williams most of the way!

I take the train to work so I just spank the fuck out of it every time I get in mine!

I have never bothered to work out the MPG as it would just piss me off as fuel never lasts long especially after a saturday afternoon chasing round after bits!

A tenner I only get between 30-35 miles but does have a habit of running rich, which does need to be looked at.
