Default Brams Smokestone Saph, Windows & Interior fitted. 13/01/14

Hiya everyone this is a start to a long restoration project on my k plate saph, i have had the car for a few years now and loved every minuite of it.
The car was standard apart from a stage 1 chip and exhaust when i bought it, i have since added a group a head gasket a chip, light blue injectors, 3 bar map sensor and a t34 .48, then upgraded the turbo to a universal turbos t38 and fitted a helix paddle clutch then got it set up by Carwise uk ( who done a really good job ) and the car felt awsome running 2 bar boost. I then done another turbo upgade to a T4 but have not really used the car much since so i have decided to strip and rebuild the car from bottom to top going to paint the underside then the rest of the car.

So started to remove the engine

Hopefully will get all the rear running gear and fuel tank off at the weekend.
Thanks for looking!!!!!!!

A bit of an update i have removed all the doors which were a right nightmare to get off i have also removed the boot lid and rear bumper then a few days later got to work removing the rear running gear and petrol tank so the car is just about a shell now!!!
A few pics for you's

A few bits of rust found under the rubber doors seals should'nt be to hard to repair

A few of the boot floor

and then i got it up off the floor and rolled it

and started to clean it off with the petrol i drained from the tank and a brush then wiped with a cloth its coming up quite ok!!!!!

Thats all i have done so far will have to try and get the rest of it cleaned this weekend hopefully.

Seen one just like this the other day but in a bit better nick.

Someone was using it as a dog kennel, in there garden.

(Dog looked a bit imbarrased)

Better stock up on unleaded bud, wont be any left by the time it comes back out of the garage.

Carnt wait to see it when its done tho mate, Should look exactly the same.
