Default 4x4 cossie waterpump or thermostat

put the old girl back together she runs lovely but
notice that the heater only gets warm if hold the revs up and hoses to matrix are luke warm and dont feel like have water in them the heating has never got red hot
temps sits fine ????? could it be thermostate

also any one have a 4x4 housing

poss stat stuck open !have you got all the air out of the system

Air lock in the matrix? Get the car up to running temp, put the heater on hot and give the hoses a good pump with your hand. With the heater on hot and the fan running slowly, the matrix hoses should be as hot as the other hoses....

Just use the car when it gets up to temp and is allowed to cool overnight, the natural thermo syphon action of the cooling systems expansion tank will draw the air out into, level will drop top back up job done.

excellent thank you people that will explain why only took about 3 litres of coolent well get it sorted this weekend
