My cossie (2wd saph) had been running well for a few weeks now since the rebuild. Was a bottom end build. I decided to check the CO before turning the boost up (running a GGR stage 1 chip). Checked the CO and it wa at 1.13% so gradually incresed it till it was upto 2.5% but was missing on number 3 cylinder now.
I took the plug out to find oil on it and on top of the piston
Now it wont run right at all. Im going to try and set the fuelling back down to 1.14% again tomorrow and see if the car runs right again. It seems to be a bit of blue but mostly a grey/white smoke out the back and is really starting to hack me off

Please help

i assume you mean you are playing with the ecu screw to alter the CO%? - you shouldnt really mess with it as it adjusts the fueling in the whole map and can cause problems
do you know what the CO% should be at idle, if not you need to phone GGR with your chip ID
was the head rebuilt too or just the bottom end? it could be very worn guides?!
either that or something has gone wrong in the running in process and maybe the rings on 3 arent doing what they should be
or it could be something silly like a dodgy injector on 3 throwing too much fuel in
you can do a comp test to rule out bottom end, but in my experience they arnt always conclusive

I did ring GGR and they said CO at idle needs to be 2.5%. Otherwise i wouldnt have checked and adjusted it. Im gonna get a spare head of mine sent of for new guides and i will fit that. Hopefully that will improve things. If it doesnt, i will be bloomin mad LOL
