Escort MK3´s wing mirrors, in models such as XR3i, their centre are in the same colour of the bodywork... Here in Brazil there was no such option...

I´d like to know, are these cover caps removable (snaped on or glued)?

Then I got curious if I could buy these caps (if there can be found as spares)

base models were one complete unit

think it was the xr and the rs range that came with seperate centres

if you take the glass out all will come clear on how they are removed

 

How do I take out the glass? I´ve been trying, but unsuccesful, I just broke the glass and the plastic plate didn´t come out... Is there some "trick" to take it out?
