so what u all runing boost wise and how is ur engine adapted to not explode
thinkin the higher enders here running 20psi as i wanna run that much but i dnt wanna go pop

Build a high quality engine with very good parts. Do not skimp on the cost and its not hard imho

Simply don't have champagne ideas and lemonade pocket.
My CVH which runs 22 psi was not cheap to do, how fast can you afford to go?

honestly its a good engine the pistons are good i did the hewad lastweek all the valves are spot on cams good not a bit of smoke from it all new plugs aswell so its a tidy engine however i dnt wanna start blowing heads and damaging pistons by running it on 20

run 20psi on a std bottom end for the past 8 years,never had a problem!

I doubt you can reach the block internals limits by raising boost on a completely std engine with std turbo. Even if you run silly boost the head probably wouldn't flow enough to develop "dangerous" cylinder pressures.

Only way to kill it is detonation, IMO.

Exactly right Peter the little T3 will be screaming its guts out producing nothing more than really high ACT's.
Take it to your nearest reputable tuner and get them to set it up for as much as your specification can produce!

i know ur idea of blowing stuff up carl
think i migh go for 15 boost and get it tuned to that spec
just curious to see if any ones running 25 or more

The norris motorsport stage 7 engine my friend has holds about 27psi but it is all down to how much you want to spend.

I'd stick to a safe setup mate that way you can drive the car better and harder knowing the engine will take the abuse.

But i all depends on your engine spec
