My guess is a wiring fault.

206 2.0cc (petrol) anti pollution fault.
Central display and mgt light on.
Car doesn;t drive any differently, no lumpyness, no power loss etc just dash lights.
So far have changed cat and Lambda sensor nearest the engine (up stream?). Cleared the codes and stays off for 100 or so miles then pops back on. HAVE to get it fixed. Searched about the forums and can't find true fix. Some peeps have lumpy and powerloss and seems to be coil pack or cam followers to fix?
Anyone know the answer to this one please

Common on these...

But a common cure - cam sensor, o2 sensors and so on.

Fuel filters easy enough and cheap enough to try. She's already had a big can of redex as cheap fuel is meant to set them off....

Have a look on http://www.peugeotcentral.co.uk/ I used to be on there sometimes with our 207GT with similar problems.

I had the anti polluition come on a few times when I had a 307 HDI and you gave it a good hiding.

Found the best fix was just to drive it slower

Cam sensors allow cars to run squential injection - thats good for emissions...

If the ECU dectect the cam sensor is faulty it wont be able to run in that mode.

This is a common problem for the Peugeot 206 2009.

quite possibly the dreaded hydraulic lifter problem only affects the 2.0 engines, only way to fix is replace all 20 lifters, there was a design fault in some of them and it causes the oil to drain over night causing a slight misfire in the mornings bringing on the anti pollution light and managment light.
