Anyone know where i can get a boot floor and a back panel for my sapphire from????

 

I managed to get a genuine ford rear panel last year on ebay, I don't know if anyone does a pattern part as its no longer serviced

boot floor might have to be find a decent second hand one and cut it out

only ones i have found are patten parts for a hatch back and the back panel is different looks like the boot floor is dealers only but they cant get them anymore

 

Ford need to reproduce some parts.

I'm a bit of a hoarder but it has to be done layed my hands on this the other week complete exhaust/near side rear chassis leg result

Not according to my dealer they don't

with postage it was still less than what is was new from ford so still had a result,

Can you secure the other side chassis leg then??

ive helped others before where there local or ford dealer says no we dont do them, ive got the part and sent it on

if thay do list it some say thay do others say no

 

back panel you can get not the chassie leg that was stopped years ago m8

 

I have a very good relationship with the parts dept at my local dealer and I can honestly say they go out of their way to help me out with bits, if its nla then its nla unfortunately, PM coming your way though

The rear panel was Ł87 plus the vodka and tonic from ford but I bagged it for a bullseye but again I've been told that its nla

An update for you after speaking with a mate today is your saph a 2wd? if it is rear panel is still available from Ford

4x4 is not but don't ask me what the difference is I thought it would have been the same part

the only diffrence is the 4x4 rear panel has extra holes for the number plate panel

 

there is a rear pannel and boot floor on ebay now

 

if your main dealer says that a part in not avalable ask them to do
a dealer search. an e-mail will get sent to all ford dealers asking
for the part you want. i asked my local ford for mk1 fiesta wings
and the guy said no, my mate got on the phone to him and TOLD
the parts department to do this search. 3hrs later we got a phone
call to say we have found a pair of wings.

 

i work at a ford main dealer and we have got access to a web site called edix that you can put the part number into and it checks all the ford dealers stock that are on it in the uk and in europe,have found alot of old parts like that ,if they are listed as obserlete stock they should give you 60% off, got 4 orignal light blue ford badges the other day for Ł15
