My 260 bhp one hit the quater in 12.54 at the pod if thats any help!

 

From a couple of people that I know of that had them, they launch incredibly well off the line. No idea on times or anything else.

 

They are awesome of the line, until the gear box blows

 

I used to have a black one, and it would EASILY walk away from most Escort Cosworths!!

My mates 300bhp cant get away from me (Rolling 60mph) and i pull past and away not long after. But i did tell him he would kill me from a standing start.

i'm gonns hate myself for saying it but
thet drive realy well actualy,
mate had 1 with just over 300bhp, was a flying machine
done 13's at crail so the 12's at the pod sound about right
i'd have 1 no bother, realy well put together,
gearbox's are soft, not the easiest to work on,
but you could buy worse, just make sure it hasn't been over abused and killed

 

Bit of an old skool car now, i havent seen one on the road for years!

 

Only drove one with around 280bhp but it went well , a mate owns one that has run 10's and may do a 9 this year.

 

Then SERIOUSLY, there is something wrong with his car!!!

Well, having owned a 280bhp Pulsar, and having driven 335d's practically every week, if not every day for nearly 2 years when i worked for BMW, even though the 335's are fantastic cars, there is no way they would out run a pulsar.... whether it be from stand still or 60mph rolling.....

Trust me carl, youd know if i had 'bitten your head off' all i am saying is, is his pulsar is a GENUINE 300bhp, then it WOULD be able to pull away from you. stand still OR rolling.

But rolling? I have 50bhp more + shit loads of torque and he has 4WD tranny losses and like i said it was close for a bit..

considering you have only been on here since december you may be surprised to realise that you have missed loads yes.

I simply stated rolling at 60mph as Maria may have mistakenly not read your first post properly and assumed it is off the line your mates pulsar cannot leave you as a rolling start at such a speed is a different kettle of fish altogether. I suppose once the speed starts building up then the balls that your 335d must have will pay dividends but I haven't had first hand experience of either cars so couldn't say. Maria probably does know what she's talking about if she has had one before and worked at BMW.
