its from about 3 or 4 years ago,went to the ford dealership in hartlepool and this was sat there for sale! cant really remember but it think it was 25 or 26 grand.
i got talking to someone who worked in there,and they told me it belonged to a manager at ford newton aycliffe,and he moved it to hartlepool because he had no one intrested in buying it from there.
i walked into the dealership that morning and didnt expect to see that sat there!!

 

Pretty weird to see that in a Ford dealership in this day and age LOL!

Yeah it was in the holiways ford branch here for while a few years back, it was up for Ł25k, i went and had a look at it out of interest. i beleive it belonged to the holiways owners son, john hardy jnr, he ran/runs the holiways here, he had a red escort cosworth a good few years back, reg was 'sup 1v' iirc. he also had an ST24 when they first came out, a black saloon.

One thing that always made me think is that the wheels have been painted all silver and the 500 sticker on the boot is an odd colour compared with the rest of the sticker

The same bloke (mathew hardy used to had purple colour escort cossie when i used to work for the holiways garage years and years ago.Ive also seen this car when it was in aycliffe too.It looks realy nice.It had the front fog lights in when i seen it and the grills where in the boot in the packets.

 

it certainly was! i remember walking into the showroom thinking to myself....im asking for cosworth parts again,and most of these clowns in here dont know what one is!... then i turned the corner and theres an rs 500 sat there for sale!!
