A mate of mine owned this car for a while, he bought it from up north about a year or so ago, was a bit of a pile for the money he paid.

He rebuilt the engine but never finished it and sold it on, not sure where it is now.

I sold it to a lad near Cumbria about 4.5 years ago, had just been painted as per bens pic, was it shit then Rossco,shame I loved that car.

 

fuckin loved that car, got me thinking now, gutted its a bin now like, but I suppose once theyre sold its out of your hands,fuck me i wasted soooo much money on that car, but as you can see...I had so many good times with it. 2wd Saff .....the best Cossie by a fuckin mile!!!

Yeh think thats where my mate Adrain bought it from. I dont think the Cumbrian owner had shown it as much love as you.
The wiring for the fan had all been pissed about with, had a massive oil leak from the rear main oil seal, some of the paint had sunk back pretty bad, it had a 2wd bonnet with the vents cut into it, rust comming through on the archs.
Would not have taken much to sort out, while it was at the garage having the clutch sorted some fooookers broke in to it (well it was left unlocked as the battery was not conected) they nicked all the chrome and all other easy Ebay saleable stuff.
Adrain lost heart after that and sold it as a non runner.

 

Oh well,he didnt realy seem to know his Cossies, broke it on the way home as well,came and bought it within 30 seconds of seeing it,weird.
Must admit the car wasnt perfect,Ive had much straighter saffs, but that one did look the fuckin schiznit on those wheels/suspension setup.I had this one which was a better car, but never liked it as much as the Magenta one for some reason.






Paint was flawless.

 

why is it diamond cuts look so fookin cool on magenta saffs ,love that pic of the car

 

Wheels are only as good as the tyres you put on them mate.a point worth remembering
