Are any Fords planning on entering Time Attack this year?

Is there still a FWD class? if so surely there are a few FWD cars that could compete pretty well, Luca for one,

You have Forced induction or N/A classes and they are split up into Club, Club Pro and Pro classes this year.

I'm entering 2 rounds but I'm not using a Ford

 

Think there is a bathtub class this year. Me and Stu will do a couple of rounds for sure.

In Pro class cars like Ollie Clarks Scoob have not entered & Kev Atkins EVO from club is also not entered, just too much money needed to win TA these days.

They might have changed it but I thought when i last looked at it you had to ssign up for a whole season. Four or so rounds for Ł1200 ish quid????

Round 1 - April 25th - Oulton Park
After our first outing to Oulton in 2008 we just had to return to the super technical circuit, this time with the Modified Live shown team.
Round 2 - May 17th - Knockhill
And again, 4 ears running now, Knockhill thrills and spills just keep getting better, join us north of the border.
Round 3 - May 31st - Silverstone
Big Power time, Silverstone chews them up and spits them out, see the drivers going bigger this bigger that in an attempt to be the quickest.
Round 4 - June 28th - Brands Hatch
Nippy little movers, back in town for more tarmac terror as the lap times just keep on falling!
Round 5 - October 11th - Snetterton

we won't qualify for any points in the championship but will be able to do the rounds in a prototype class

 

Will their not be a proto type championship then? or is it like a demo class?

Cost is Ł1500 to enter which when broken down over the rounds works out EXTREMLY well priced IMO.

I'm working on costs of over Ł500 a round at the moment. I'm entering Silverstone and Brands Hatch this season and it's not going to be cheap It should be competitive though.

No Donington this year due to work on the GP circuit Such a shame because I would have loved to have done that track.

 

I take it your paying for the whole thing up front though as you cant enter round by round?

I am guessing they have had a fair few dropout this year just due to costs and people tightening their belts.

 

Between myself and a mate we are doing 4 of the 5 rounds. There will be sessions being sold and another friend has already sold his slot for Oulton park because he couldn't make it

We will be paying by the round but that figure roughly covers entry, fuel, tyres, brakes etc

Yep Should be interesting because it's now about 700bhp We are in the process of making it lighter now with lighter panels, windows and stripping it out, it should be quick
