I have some on my series 2 and it makes a bit of a diffrence (mostly on the motorway due to higher speeds) they are a good idea as i think you can never have enough cooling mods on a RST but its not a huge diffrence but every little bit add's up plus it looks good

On the downside you can smell the engine more as the bonnet is lifted.

Dont go for the thin tube ones... go for the solid blocks.

Here's mine:

Pics taken a while ago. The good things also with the blocks is that in winter/colder months, you can just remove them and then lay them on top of the bonnet hinge fixing so the bonnet closes fully... then when you open the bonnet, you can still see them! Better than taking them off and losing them in ya garage or wherever

they look good but like peeps said you get the idiots and also if you got lots of chrome in gets damper etc there not a good idea in this weather as it pisses in when it rains etc and as its where it would normally rust anyway lol

i had a set on mine ended up taking them of in the end lol

also tried the gas struts but in the end reverted back to the standard look lol
