Does anyone know the history of my escort rs turbo, reg H191 GVS? I bought it in 2007 after my 2 friends aquired it through someone who owed them money, couldnt pay up so gave them the escort instead. I 1st saw this car in 2003 just down the road from me in tonbridge kent, but couldnt afford the £3500 asking price. But then it was in sevenoaks for a few years before i got it.

My rs turbo seems to have completely skipped the whole rs scene in its lifetime, no ones ever recognised to reg plate/car yet it is a genuine rs.

Thread digging I know! Not sure if you've still got this but it was my uncles, who owned it in Tonbridge and had it up for 3.5k I think it was? Was a good car and I know he had some work done on it inc a few little bits of rust done before he sold it. Was pretty quick as well! Running something like 230bhp iirc. How is the car? I remember it was having some problems after he sold but can't remember what they are.

 

Going to give it to my son when he is 17

 

This was mine in the early 2000’s beautiful car wish I had kept it. If it’s still about I’d buy it tomorrow.
