Default 1.3 OHV to 1.6 CVH in a mk4 scort

Right just aquired a clean mk4 ecort eclipse for buttons from a work mate and was wondering what parts I would need to drop a 1.6 CVH into it?? I will be doing all the work myself just want an idea of the parts I would need to complete the transplant?

Thanks

Carl

hi mate, really you need the whole front end really, like brakes, anti roll bar, suspension,as for sticking it in,it aint to hard,if your keeping a carb on it,then its easy, but if your gonna stick MFI injection, you will need the loom, best off buying a whole 1600 CVH car,a donor, makes life easier!
and if ya need a hand PM me

Sticking with the carb mate only reason for the change is to get rid of the 1.3 rattle box so you reckon i should keep an eye out for a 1.6 mk4 escort to rape then, thanks m8y

Did this conversion myself mate in a bonus - very easy and worthwhile.

Best bet is to buy a complete 1600 donor car, put engine in (same mounts) use radiator, hoses etc from donor car and a bit of wiring.

Gies a shout if I can help, will try my best!
