i went to ford today to order two tie rods, and track rod ends but they didnt kno what rack is on my small turbo escos, they said it was either a T.R.W or WUELFRATH can any one help and tell me which one it is, ( n reg st escos).

as far as I am aware the threads on the end are the same so it doesn't matter!
didn't even know there was more than one type!

the guy behind the desk said the only way of telling was where the straight spline is attaching too the steering colum, the splines are slightly different. ?? i need to order the tie riods and track rod ends....does n e one have a part no......???

 

I'm pretty sure its a TRW rack on the escos but as Steve says the threads are the same anyway
