I have an RS2000 that i was going to do a rolling restoration on. Unfortunately it just failed it mot and needs a lot of welding done on the sills/floor are where they meet. Also front subframe mounting area. Other than that it only failed on a couple of bulbs and a cv gaiter. Due to the fact I have two other cars and can't weld and can't afford for someone else to do it I'm abandoning this project. If anyones interested in buying this car to repair/strip for parts,please contact me. Its a '92 model in white. Apart from a couple of scabs on the passenger side door and rust round the filler cap the bodywork is fine(for a 17 yo car). The engine/gearbox are great. The engine has kent cams fitted and has a K+N panel filter fitted. Apart from this it is standard. It has a cabriolet strut brace fitted, drilled/grooved discs all round, full stainless exhaust with cat bypass. It has 16" TSW Evo R's in black. 1 brand new tyre which I fitted for the MOT, 1 other good tyre and 2 just legal tyres. The interior is in excellent condition. The Recaro trim is superb, no sagging or wear. The drivers side seat subframe has been welded as it had cracked. I have photos which I can e-mail if you are interested.

i have had some pm's regarding the car. i will put on here what i've told them. i had sold the car on e-bay not just once but three times. now none of these time wasters have come to get the car. the first one told me he had lost the use of his lockup so nowhad nowhere to keep it. fair enough. put it back on e-bay. second bought it then informed me that he had to sell his car first last one bought it last week and was supposed to be picking it up today, but had no contact from him since thursday. i have tried e-mailing him but he's not replying. i'm fed up with putting it on e-bay and it costing me every time i do. it sold for £450 first time, £410 the second and £400 the third. i would like as near that as i can get and am open to sensible offers. the engine is cracking and i've seen these sell on e-bay for over £400. the interior is great and i've seen these sell in worse condition on e-bay for over £150. take into account all the other bits on this car which could be sold and its a bargain. rs2000 bonnet anyone!! i know people would say break it but for one i think its a waste of a good car and 2 i don't have the room to do it or store it.
