people who own saphs with 500 style coolers
if you still run the amal valve what did you do with it when the cooler was fitted as it used to sit on top of the old ford cooler
does anyone have any pics or anything please as to what or where you put it ?

I just got a little strip of ally, bent it like a kind Z then bolted the Amal valve onto it then drilled and screwed it to the slam panel where it used to be

i was gonna extend the wires and mount it on the inner wing but instead i found a nice red cabble tie lol

i screwed mine to the inner wing! didnt drill any holes just used the ones that are already there

not all of us got air injectors though Gus
Plus isnt the way to go electronic boost controllers now?

I know mines a 3dr but i screwed it (using one of the 2 holes) to one of the old intercooler mounting points

ill stick with my ECU controlling the boost m8 ta as it compensates for coolant temp and stuff

Cool Gus, i suppose going of topic what is the advantages and disadvantages of both? Be nice to know as i would like the bin my amal one day but not sure what to get

just another way of controlling the boost m8 tbh only i prefer air-air as it is ecu controlled not a stand alone unit and if mapped CORRECTLY they are mint

mine is on the inner wing, but has fucked up it seems as it does not switch over from lo to hi boost

Not sure Matt, im waiting on the PM back, but the cooler is getting sent tomorrow & ive just told Wayne/Alex to do me one what ever the cost is.

I just mounted mine on top of the cooling fans frame, need to use short screws tho so they don't catch on the fan blades.

Guys...can somebody do us a quick sketch.. we can 'knock' something up
we would supply as standard fitted on to the 500 cooler but this gives you a problem when fitting a turbo cooler- I guess fitting remotely to the slam panel is the best all round option?

I made some stainless steel staps to support top of radiator and fitted it to thone of them.
