Default Ok, so it's a 6 paddle clutch.......

I have a 2WD YB Sierra Cosworth which we have done a bit of work on. I am currently up rating the gearbox and at the same to replacing the clutch. We have dyno sheet showing 400 lbs torque and 500hp.

I don't really want to go the twin/triple plate route. Having done a search here, most of you guy's recon a alcon 6 paddle will do the trick.

Question is will I be able to keep it cable operated?

Yes.

Hydraulic conversion would be easier on the foot if using a uprated cover but not a vital requirement to have one.

I have the alcon 6 paddle clutch with the heavy duty cover and i find it ok, still cable operated as well.
