bit of a strange one
i think i know what the problem is but just kinda need confermation

the car is running at about 9- 10 psi but on occassion wheni put my foot down and thrash it through the gears a bit the boost will peak at almost 15psi, but most of the time it runs around 10

been told it could be a worn actuator?

any help much appraciated guys as always

 

Probably the actuator, make sure the actuator has not come loose! Happened to me and had similar symptoms to yours

check the actuator pipe.could be spilt.blew an engine by having the pipe disconnected
