Has anyone seen the black ST170 headlamps without the amber lens for the indicator. As I have seen them on Focus WRC's unless they were modified, which is something I wasn't planning on doing!!

I do have photos i took but not sure how 2 put them on ere!

 

I did wonder, A mate of mine wanted to paint the inside of his body colour but ruined his lens taking it off, I think he used a soldering iron, Im assuming they're bonded together and you have to break the seal.?!

Basically obtain a pair of smoked ST170 headlights

i got some standard amber headlamps split them and sprayed them black and bonded them back together







cool when done and well worth the work

 

you can buy them directly for european parts

 

What technic did you use to split the lights open.Tried opening mine but the plastic splintered?
