Default F**king Pot-holes

i was up early this morning to take my Escos over to Bluesprint for a cambelt change and general going over, 10mins in to my journey i hit a massive water filled pot-hole, it made a hell'ova bang!! 2mins later i was at the side of the road with front and rear passenger-side punctures.

unable to drive the car i had to get my mate out in his ford recovery truck to pick me up ( he's had it respayed imperial blue) i got him to drop the motor off at Bluesprint as they said they would sort the punctures out for me.

i got a call from Joe@Bluesprint later on to say that i would need 2 new tyres and my wheels may need some minor repair

needless to say i was immediately on the phone to the local highways agency to report the hole and damage to my car, i was told the hole had already been reported earlier in the day and that i needed to write a letter and include pics to pursue a claim, all of which i have now done and will be eagerly awaiting a reply.

anyone else had something similar happen to them?

if so how did you get on with making a claim?

here's the pics i took:

My mate done a tyre and buckled his alloy on his BMW. He took pictures etc and complained but it never got anywhere. Good luck with it though. A biker would have no chance, its a joke.
