sad thing to happen, but when you do an interview on safety how can you do this straight after?

I kind of agree but at the same time with a few of them running around in an enclosed arena the sound will be everywhere and he probably had ear defenders on too...

I wonder what was going through his mind at the time (other than a few tons of truck).

One truck's just gone past so there must be another one somewhere?

being a confined area that should make it all the easier to spot a 12ft tall 18ft long 1000+ hp truck coming at you

They didn't show the impact. I thought, "I'll go find a vid of it". Then I decided I didn't want to see it. Must be getting old.

I can't believe he never saw it coming. The driver must still be shaken up by it. Thanks to my 4 year old son i'm pretty well up on my Monster Trucks. Similar to what Dojj is to wrestling, but not quite as obsessed. This truck was called Samson.

yep he should of really touched that wood i think if i say something like that i usually run off to find some wood, i've been known to touch cloth a few times as well but don't think that is as lucky

but in all seriousness R.I.P, but a quick glance around really wouldn't of hurt now would it, i work with electrics but know you can't get comfy because it will bite you without warning, just a shame he lost his life because of it.

They all have a remote engine cut off fitted aswell so if the safety crew see a potential accident they can stop the truck remotely, like if one catches fire underneath that the driver can't see. He must have been obscured from their view.

yeah but even with a remote cut off something of that weight and size doesnt just stop dead! it wil have alot of momentum so take a while to coast to a stop without brakes being applied....

may of just been fed up with life you dont iknow what caused it.... but i cant believe that he didnt think about looking before walking across

Only a matter of time, safety didn't seem to be a priority. I imagine the guy was well enough paid for what he did.
