Now why the huge overlap bit at cam spocket end???

I know the halfmoons seal off the cam cover so why the overlay??? can i scissor it off???

 

yes you will see the little perforations where you cut

they help keep the gasket in place while tightening the cover down, then snap the excess off when you've finished the job..

 

dont that mean cambelt has to come off to do middle bit????

 

Its so you can also use it on a 5 cylinder YB.

Its what engine they put in the 200 4wd RS Turbos they made

 

yes so just cut it off before you fit it and don't forget to put some sealer where the half moons meet that gasket.
