has any one had problems with them ie water coming past the o ring making the water mix with the oil

no, but i always use a dolop of silicone on the o ring, to seal, and stop them pinching when torqued up

No never but as Jtech mentioned I always use a little silicone sealant too.

the older style 1's have started to get a reputation for failing nowadays
but the new reyland 1's are supposed to be modified and solve the problem
i thought it was cause they were causing blocks to crack but that might not be the case

well they should be spot on,

i use reyland studs, they are very good, and use a smaller nut, which is easier to get a socket on...

did you have your block decked?

its been decked m8 along with the head as its all been apart didnt have any problems befor may be i used sillcon befor and not this time

just dry mate, never had any issues at all with mine even the second time.
