mitsubishi gto
hey all a friend of mine has a gto twin turbo it backfires at 4k itwill pass 4k if you let the throttle off just before and then just feather it.
when he bought it he was given an actuator for the rear turbo as the front one had a new one fitted so today i changed it and it seems a little better but it is still not right, im not sure if its overboosting or not ive traced the actuator pipe and it goes to a small solenoid does this mean that it could be a sensor fault ive never done that much with tubo cars apart from the 200sx, if the wastegates are not opening would that cause it to backfire

well its supposedly running at 400 bhp but i dont think theres a 4wd roller near us that does 400 bhp also i forgot to mention its all piped up for nos too but the squirt valve end isnt connected to anything and im not sure where it is supposed to go does it go on the inlet manifold?
