my fuel pump does not buzz when i put ignition on whats the first thing to look at ,checked fuses,help needed thanks

 

Probs the relay, you haven't said what year or model it is, guessing it's an RST, don't know much about Fiestas but it's prob gonna be in your fusebox or under your dash. First off just try giving the relay a tap it might have stuck.

sorry its a 1991, i have checked the crank sensor.and tapped and wiggled the relays but still nothing any more ideas ,thanks martin ,im thinking new pump do i have to take the tank of to check

 

Not to sure about the fuel pump location on Fiesta's, if it's gravity fed like the Cosworths it will be in a cradle fitted underneath the tank, if not I guess it will be in the tank try.

If it's the latter if I were you I would check that it's deffo not the relay and measure the output on the wiring up to the tank if so this would indicate fuel pump fault.

Otherwise you won't be best happy if the fuel pump is ok and your got a fuel tank to re assemble and re fuel
