hi guys i am going to rebuild my engine its standed i dont know alot about cars and going to try do it my self can anyone give me a list of wot i wud need to do a complet rebuild thanks

 

gaskets seals bearings, possible machining work, water pump oil pump a very good selection of tools, a haynes manual piston rings, oil & filter coolant

 

1st things 1st mate, I don't want to sound nasty but if you don't know a great deal about engines there's quite a good chance you'll fuck it trying to do it yourself. Better off taking the head off and sending it away and the same with the bottom end then just putting them back together.

I agree but we all have to start somewhere right?? If you have a bit about you or you work in a sector where you might be able to use you skills i.e Engineering then you should be ok. If you have absolutley no idea then i would leave it to someone else to do, you dont want to be spending over a thousand pounds only to trash it first turn of the key.

 

a turbo engine aint the best engine to start on tho,lol
