ok guys been out of the scene for a little while, had a few pap cars since ,my last fast ford but i brought this today for a bargain price due to it needing quite a bit of bodywork and also having no front seats. it does however benefit from having a recent top end rebuild, avo coilovers, full scorpion exhaust system and a few other bits and pieces.
just from having a quick look i can see that it is going to need 2 front wings, poss a new bonnet, 2 new doors and def a new n/s quarter panel and also inner wing aswell. i know it sounds a lot of work but she came with such an extensive history, every mot and tax disc sice 1994 and loads and loads of paperwork.
im gonna hope to have it all done by the middle of the year so i have time to enjoy it for the summer, im quite mechanically minded but not too clued up on the bodywork side of things so ill be leaving that to the pros, i will however be making loads of frequent updates.
i have a couple of pics just to show what kind of condition she is in

dont have any pics atm but its pretty much standard apart from a k&n filter, few samcos and a bailey dump valve. As for plans im going to buy an alloy rad and cooler from auto specialists, fit a hybrid t3 with full complement of black roose hoses, get some beiges in there and then get it set up at totd

thanks for comments guys. well last night was eventful to say the least, fitted a new starter only to find that no fuel was getting through, found that the pump wasnt priming and after an extensive look through the masses of paperwork i have, it turns out there is an immobiliser. damn it.
anyway, i managed to get in contact with previous owner who posted it today, woohoo.
also today, got it booked into a bodyshop in wembley where i work everyday and its having all new panels with exeption of doors boot and roof and then a full repaint in original white. i decided to get it done in wembley as i can pop in any time of the day and get some pics for you to see. all i say is roll on next weekend

good times, got the little immobiliser key in the post so went out to see if she would run, battery was flat so hooked it up to my van, turned the key and she started instantly and ran like a dream, didnt overheat, fan kicked in etc so im well happy, although it did show up that the alternator is fubared so that along with a new battery will be happening saturday.
speaking of saturday im hoping to be picking up some of my new panels and also starting to strip it ready for its stay at the bodyshop so will b lots of pics of rust for you to flame at the weekend.cheers
