just got back from ale shed and was talking to a mate of mine about his new rs he getting soon,anyway got onto the subject of rallying and he reckons the mk2 was more successfull than the mk1,now it is well b4 my time and could not comment so i said i would leave it up to you folks so please discuss

we were also talking about weather his rs will be quicker than my 3dr with hopefully greys and a gt3071 and greys etc,we will find out very soon if i get my rs in gear and rebuild the bugger

don't recall rwd escorts being in the wrc myself.

iirc the mk2 escort was more successful and was actually the most successful rally car of all time... although i may be imagining that!
