Default One forthe I.T chaps.....

I have a weird problem with my laptop that started about a week ago i turn it on and the first time i left click on something say to copy a picture etc, whatever i have clicked on will stay on my screen (pics will explain below)

I haven't done anything out of the ordinary before it started other than install avast and deleting and reloading that doesn't help.

Can anyone help/advise?!

Im on vista if that helps.

you've got a dodgey IE Addon - some toolbar thats interfacing with your browser....turn it off

Tools --> Manage Addons - Disable any that are not genuine IE ones, for instance, that ant.com one.
