Looking to go on a cheapo holiday in June this year, fancy somewhere other than Spain, Greece etc.....
Morocco doesnt look too bad, missus quite fancies it and it seems quite cheap for 7 days all inclusive.
So anyone been? Looking at Agadir perhaps?

been 4 times its actually a nice place with a fantastic beach be carefull with hotels though would recoment the rui tikidda dunas and the royal atlas.
despite what everyone says didnt really get any hastle there the mrs was cuftable there they are really friendly and would rather you looked in there shop and not bought anything than just ignore them and walk by.
lots of bargains and things to do quad biking in the mountains, boat trips, trips to other tows ( hated maraquesh that was very very pestered etc )
we are off again in sep for 2 weeks staying in the royal atlas

me and my wife went last year and stayed at royal atlas and was good value and quite a nice place although 7 days was enough as there wasn't masses to do unless you go on to the organised trips etc!
Strange i have just booked to 2 weeks there today. Me and the Mrs are going to be based in Marrakech but will be doing travelling and stop overs in different parts. Steer clear of casablanca not a nice place. As for been pestered it is what these guys do for a living if you are polite and refuse they are ok, just dont get lured in for a cup of tea, you've had it then.

cheers chaps, some mixed views there!! That Royal Atlas hotel looks nice so may enquire about going there. As for being hassled in the street etc thats not really a problem. We did Egypt last year and survived Cairo and Luxor so am sure we'll be fine
.
cheers

I don't rate it myself. Too many beggers and sellers everywhere. Also the food was a bit ropey.
We started in Marrakech and travelled on to Essoria by the coast which was a lot quieter and more enjoyable.
I certainly won't be going back but my missus thought it was okay.
