I recently paid £700 for a S1 CTS box which was low mileage. I would assume if you have the receipts for the rebuild from CTS a bit more than that.
Series 1 boxes are more desirable as they allow the use of the S1 ARB so fetch a little more.
Hope that helps.

That's what I have
and what I assume this fella has as there is not a stage 3 box
The new prices are stated below which may help define how much a second hand one is worth.
Stage 1 uses uprated Ford viscous limited slip diff : £495
Stage 2 uses Quaife ATB limited slip diff : £895
Stage 2Plus has shot-peened gears : £1,195

I was gonna say my stage 2 was over a grand with the dreaded on top....and i broke that last year lol. Due to the diff being ok though it was only £350 to be rebuilt which was cheaper than i expected!
are these stage 2+boaes actually stroong? ive just bought one for 800 brand new still wrapped with the receipt for 1200, i here good things and bad things, my car will be pushing around 220bhp with loads of torque, should it be ok?
