Default Fiesta turbo given a new life

Hi i use my fez for drag racing and occasional hillclimb event, engine was running 17psi of boost with some minor engine mods. It was running a kent cvh34b cam and a collins powerchip with beige injectors. Best ET 1/4mile was 13.2 seconds @ 112mph and 0-60 in 5.9 secs. Since i do all the work myself i have been able to spend some more on the parts. Here are a few pics:

Engine before:

Engine taken apart

I knew that there was something wrong as the engine was breathing heavily

Also the turbo was found to be busted :

New pistons and rods purchased and engine had to be cut oversize

Also a T34 turbo came along with a .48 housing

so now started working and manufacturing the down pipe and first half of the exhaust system in stainless steel

so now its only supplying the turbo with oil and manufacturing the drain, installing ecu and harness back in place and then to the most expected moment of them all - the intial start up, wish me luck!!!

some bad news looks like the pressure release valve in the oil pump is stuck and my engine is running 100psi of oil pressure. Tried to remove the relieve valve plug but the head of the bolt distorted, so now it means sump and oil pump have to go out again

running in over and boost upped to 15psi. Fitted rollcage and front semi slick tires. Tried it against my friends EVO 10 - killed it on straights and kept up with it in corners. Next projects - aftermarket ecu and new plenum. Will post some pics of the cage as soon as i find my camera cable
