Default my cars suffering with cold, plz presribe remedy

Hey guys, this question has probably been asked a hundred times before but i still dont know how to fix her.
Ive got a 2wd cossy running at about 330bhp, my problem is that it just wont idle when the engine is cold, is there a sensor or something that controls these sort of things that may be faulty or knackered. The problem is getting to be a pain in the bum as i usually run the engine for about 5 minutes before going anywhere and i am having to wedge the crook-lock onto the exellerator just to warm the engine.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention that i have recently changed the Air Temp Sensor and the Engine Coolant Sensor without any notable success.
Thanx again

Has the idle speed control valve and its wiring been checked?

Hi Stu, i have not done anything to the ISCV, but now you mention it i will take it off and see if its dirty and spray a bit of carb cleaner around it. Do you just have to attach a multi-meter to the connections to check the wiring or is it a bit more complicated than that?
Many thanks

Pin them out back to ecu.
You may find the valve is just knackered mate. If it rattles, its not good.

I think i may have sorted it mate, it took the ISCV of and gave it a good cleaning and noticed the connector was a bit dirty so cleaned that as well and BINGO the engine started running at 850 rpm again when all was put back as it is supposed to be. So big thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
