Default rs turbo holds back afta 65mph+ ??

i swapped my turbo's ova 2day, using the same actuator, and it feels like its running 5psi an i usually run 16psi, 2cd 3rd 4th 5th hardly hav any torque/boost, cud my actuator b at fault??

did you unscrew the threeded bit at all? was it the same turbo you fitted. are you still useing the amal valve

If the turbo is the same, and you installed the actuator with identical pre-load, then it should be similar.. otherwise the turbo is fucked or you have a serious air leak.

its a diffrent turbo fitted, but i took my actuator + bleedvalve off my previous turbo an used it on the replacement , not sure wat u mean by (did you unscrew the threeded bit at all?) iv looked 4 air leaks cant find any

the bar on the act can be screwed in out to set the boost, if you alterd that then this explains your problemm

ok i changed the actuator an its boostin ok now, only thing buggin me is the dumpvalve is really quiet wen it dumps even on heavy load at 6000rpm? the dumpvalve was workin ok on my shagged turbo before i changed it? any idea's?

get rid of the d/valve,, they're pointless on an rs turbo

ye i no there pointless, but my gf likes driving it wiv the dumpvalve lol,any idea's?
