anybody any idea if a focus st 225 engine will drop into a mk6 escort easilly?
i know its not just bish bash bosh but i have the running gear and a car with a blown engine but will it go mount wise? i can get round the other stuff

if not what rwd box will mate to the focST225 lump?

may dump it in a mk1 escort i have laying about

its a tight fit mate, i bought a st 225 engine for my mk5 and when i measured it up it was very tight indeed

i decided against it as it would need to much fabrication and extra strengthening and went for a focus rs lump

there is someone on here who has successfully got one into a mk4 cab, but they had to do alot of chopping to the struts etc
