Default No oil pressure

I rebuildt my engine. Engine was in the car and i tried to get oil pressure by crankin but not let the car start. But there was no oilpressure so we took of the oil feed of the turbo, but no oil comming out. Then we opend up the bolt on the oilpump, but also there wasn't any oil comming from the pump. So i took of the oil pump, but nothing look to see, looks like everything is fine...

What could be wrong?

I did prime the oil pump a little bit with oil, but i could dripped out, because the engine has stand a long time out of the car

What else for mistake could be made?

Or should i just prime it good and give it another try?

How do you need to prime your oil pump, because with the search function i found some people doing it by using a drill, but i would say you f*ck up your sealing of the oil pump?

Could any one give a good desriciption because my english sucks and it is very hard to understand sometimes

just to be predantic about the 1st post you mean you 'rebuilt' not rebuilded' lol.

when i fit a new pump i soak it all up in oil, remove coil pack and crank it over and oil pressure goes up then plug coil pack back in and start it. surely if its not pumping oil the pump must be fucked though?

remove it??? i disconected mine then removed all the plugs so there is no compression then fitted a good strong battery then terned it over a few times it soon draged the oil up the pickup

try filling the oil filter up with oil first it can take a while for the pump to fill that up.

Also changed that now

When the pump is fucked you should see it when you open it don't you? I think i just haven't started long enough.

But i wonder what is the best way to get your oil pump full of oil without it flowing out during the mounting of the oilpump
