Default XBOX 360 question

I just wondered what people have found, does it look better when played on a LCD tv, or does it look better on your smaller pc screens? in theory it should be the pc screen unless you have a tv worth 2k etc.

I take it people have tried different methods?

Reason i ask is i tried a friends ps3 on my LCD tv last year (on resistance) and to be honest i wasnt that impressed with how it looked, it was just basically a light brown colour landscape, nothing else didnt wow me at all.
Im thinking was it my tv or just the game thats not that good? or mixture of both.

Just dont wanna splash out on a 360 to find it looks pants on my tv, or maybe i could use it on my nice ish pc screen? should look better on there due to higher resolution.

a 1080p TV will have a higher resolution than most PC screens, and the Xbox can only output a maximum resolution anyway

40 - 50" TV is the way to go

Did you actually plug it in via an hdmi cable to your tv because if you didnt it won't look very good.

What TV and monitor do you have? The Xbox looks fine on my Samsung 40" LCD or HP 2207 monitor using either HDMI or component. There is settings within the Xbox to adjust the colour balance you can select quite a few screen res sizes for the monitor.

resistance II looks brown because it is brown. It looks prety crap whatever you view it on. Its probably one of the most boring looking games around.....now gears of war II on the 360, thats a different matter!

GOT to have an HDMI cable, and GOT to have an HD TV obviously. Totally changes your gaming experience imo
