hi there iv got a 1.7 puma and the clutch is slipping i was wondering how hard it is to change .iv had some big quotes to have it replaced so was just wondering how hard it would be to change it myself any help welcome

 

I DID the one for my step doorter in about 5 howers but it was cold and it was the first time i had done a puma it was the 1.4 i did

 

You can change it yourself as long as your capable of removing the gearbox and bleeding the system. Its relatively simple to change the clutch the pain in the arse bit is removing gearbox especially if your doing it yourself!!!

 

its the 1.7 puma well iv dun quite a few escort rs turbo clutches and one cosworth clutch .is the box easy enough to drop down and out

 

i left it up there i just moved it a nuth to get the presher plate out and cluch out i didnot do the frust as its a pane in the ass
