Default Fuel tank

I am doing a efi conversion on my MK3 estate. It was a 1.6 cabr and its now going to be 1.6turbo efi. But can i still use the std fuel tank or do i need a rst one?

you dont need an efi one but you will need an injection tank

you can sort your own wiring for pump and use a relay and the engine harnes is only a few wires to link up but use ofab not ofac

It does the job. Was planning to go DTA but it was a bit out of my budget

ive used the breather that runs along the fuel filler into the tank to draw the fuel from and mounted the pump behind the tank under the spare wheel well. The standard carb fuel feed line is too small so ive used an 8mm steel lline to the front of the car. Keep the breather as short as possible or you may pick up shit.

I always use Normal gasoline for my Car. Dont know how "shit" works on a turbo engine Thanks for the advice. Will look in to it.

shit is actually one of the best fuels out there....some bloke down the pub told me it is 107 octane and will give you an extra 200 brake! I tried it in my 950 mk2 fezza and now it beats rs turbos! honest!!!!
