Engine may be sold however it is a 205 block mileage aprox 86 thou. Will be taking head off to check bores and head thickness. Been offered a grand for the engine so far.

is the turbo just in need of bearings and seals or is there more serious damage?

Lot of play in the shaft so not sure of condition really. Was going to split it apart but just haven't had time.

 

steve has either of the turbines hit the housing?
should be fairly easy to see without stripping it

Don't think so but will check tommorrow. Will put some pics up. Only thing i am aware of is that it has a machined front housing to allow a T3 hose to fit.
