A person has a set of 15" alloy wheels with no tyres for sale. There are manufactured in Exip in Germany. I think these might only suit a vw car. These wheels are et13 7j with 4x100 with centre bore of 57. Will these fit a 4 door ford sierra sapphire cosworth car?

What size tyres would anybody recommend to suit these alloy wheels on a car sitting on standard shocks & springs?

 

They wont fit, you need 4x108 and the centre bore i am not sure about.

 

As said 4 stud fords are 108mm pcd,(apart from one), bore is I think 52mm.

Would it be possible to use a spacer to change from 4x100 to 4x108? What other problems would this cause? Im sure than id have wheel bearing problems. Would spacer cause wheel to be running outside arch? I dont know much about using spacers. Are spacers a good idea to use or not?

 

They are acceptable on some, not these though as you are starting off with a very shallow inset anyway of 13mm.
ET= EINSPRITZ TIEF, literally insertion depth in english.
In an ideal world the centre of the wheel would be somewhere nearer the centre of the bearing, so as not to put axial twist on it.
Some wheels can be redrilled as they have enough meat on them, when wheels are made one of the last machining jobs is the drilling for the studs/bolts so often have more meat there.
