Default Oil catch tank into side of block?

I've taken off my Bailey oil catch tank and as i've pulled it away rather than pull the tank from the pipe its pulled the whole pipe up still connected to the tank. I can't work out where the pipe connect to. It is the small pipe out of the two that sit in the base of the tank. The tank sits to the right of the engine as you look at it. Would this have gone back into the block or sump somewhere? The pipe is only about 12 to 15 inches long but it's so cramped I can't see where it should go. Any ideas? Cheers.

The small pipe is your oil return, but it depends on how your oil breather tan has been set up. One way is to return to the block on the turbo side, you would see an adaptor just up from the sump towards the back of the block, underneath turbo. Or, it could be set up to return direct to sump. (the preferred way) If it has been set up like this, you will likely see an adaptor on the inlet side, somewhere along the sump, very close to where the engine breather is located on that side i would have thought.

Thanks for the reply. I found the return pipe just below the oil filter extension.
