Hi i have a fiesta rs turb i have a 195 chip 701 injetors.
when i have the boost set at 10 psi it runs fine but when i go passed 10 psi it starts cuttin in an out of boost

the chip an injetors are bran new so i know they r ok

help needed thx

i know the standard fiesta unchipped ecu will go to 10psi, anything after and overboost will set in.

word of warning, dont fuck around with your boost ok, you will be buying a new engine soon, take it to a tuners who will set it up correctly!

 

it sounds to me like the chip has worked its way loose from the back of the ecu, push it back in to the ecu firmly and put some tape to hold it in place.

in regards to how much boost you can run is a matter of opinion, depending on how good or how ropey your engine is? on a good engine id personally be happy with 16psi of boost
