I have to agree with bigad4x4, the noise of the turbo sucking in air there a huge cone is only surpassed by the subsequent fluttering of the wastegate

The BEST at that power level is without a doubt the standard airbox and even the standard paper element or K&N panel
.
FYI, wastegates do not make any noise
.
If you must have a cone filter, at least make a sealed box for it
.

I think the trumpet is a one size fits all thing, so with regards to your top turbo hose, push it up on the trumpet as far as it will go then pinch up the jubilee clip

You need to specify what trumpet size when ordering, these come sized to suit the turbo!

No, the pipe that used to go into the airbox from the amal valve will just hang atmospheric

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The noise you are hearing is turbo stall.
If you don't believe me, grab hold of the actuator and get a mate to blip the throttle. Report back
